eMed-ID provides a personal computer storage device, also known as a USB to consumers that contain their medical history. The USB device may be given to a doctor in lieu of filling out medical forms, given to a pharmacist for a list of medications, or for first responders in a medical emergency.

The USB device comes in a variety of options, including wristband, credit card style, keychain, carabineer, lanyard and a variety of other styles. In addition, the consumer receives eMed-ID Caregiver Cards that are given to law enforcement should a loved one go missing. The Caregiver Card contains their personal profile and specific medical information such as allergies and medication. The eMed-ID Caregiver Cards were developed specifically for usage with the new Silver Alert system. Much like an Amber Alert, the Silver Alert is issued for anyone eighteen years or older and is being implemented nationwide. There are approximately ten states that have legislated Silver Alert systems already.
